Supporting us this Christmas
Christmas for people facing cancer can be particularly lonely, with some spending it in hospital, away from loved ones.
Each year we run our Christmas Card campaign, where we encourage people to donate a Christmas card or letter to our Donate A Letter programme. We then take these and distribute to cancer patients at home and in hospital during the festive season.
Can you write an extra card (or 10, if you have the time!) and donate to us to pass on to someone facing cancer this Christmas? Every card brightens someone’s day - providing a bit of joy at what can be an incredibly tough time.
Cards need to be sent to our usual PO Box address; From Me to You, PO Box 6033, Ascot, SL5 5FH before Wednesday 11th December 2024.
All we ask is that you write a few lines (or include a little letter) to offer a distraction to the recipient. Perhaps you could talk about your favourite Christmas movie, the most random gift you’ve received, your ideal festive period - or just whether you’re a sprout lover or hater!

Raising funds to help our campaign
Every year we focus our Christmas fundraising appeal on ensuring that your donated letters and cards get to where they are most needed by raising money for stamps and packaging costs. This year we continue to see a 25% increase in requests for letters, so our resources are stretched more than ever.
Just £4.25 will ensure 5 cards or letters can make it to those need them. Or, if you can spare £10 this year, you’ll enable us to get 12 of your lovely cards to cancer patients facing Christmas in hospital. Whatever you can afford, please know that every £1 helps send a card or letter to brighten a cancer patient’s day in an instant.
