The impact a letter makes
We are always touched and surprised by the way that our Donate A letter programme spreads love, hope and kindness.
We received this feedback a while ago:
I just wanted to say thank you so much for the postcard I received from a lady called Dinah. I was so overwhelmed when I was given it while receiving chemotherapy. I am 54 years old and am fighting stage 4 bowel cancer that has spread to my liver and ovaries. I have a wonderful husband and 2 grown up daughters who give me so much support and love however to get a letter from a stranger who just wants to cheer a cancer patient up and to give them something else to think about is just wonderful and it really did make my day. Thank you sooooo much xx
(Caroline, Nottingham)
And then today this lady signed up to write letters for Donate A Letter:
First Name: Gabrielle
City: Nottingham
Comments: Thank you for everything you do x
How Heard About Us: My mum is a chemotherapy patient at city hospital in Nottingham and told me about these letters.
How are these 2 stories linked? Gabrielle and Caroline have the same surname.
